The Cake and Bake Show 2014 – Are You Going?
If you read my blog then I assume you are a fan of baking and try and give it a go yourself when you can. As a fan of baking there are a couple of foodie shows you may be interested in, particularly the Cake and Bake Show which will be in London this October. It will be open from Friday 3rd until Sunday 5th. I will be going myself and, having been once before, I cannot wait.
The show itself is everything to do with baking, as you might have guessed! There will be a plethora of stalls where you can buy loads of equipment and goodies to aid you with your bakes in your own kitchen at home. From things you know you need to bits and pieces you didn’t even know you could buy! When I went before there was something for both amateur bakers who don’t want to spend a fortune all the way up to professional bakers who might want to see what others are up to.
The best thing is that all of the baking elite will be there. Have a look here and you can see all the famous baking faces that will be joining the show in Earl’s Court. These stars will be hosting talks, leading classes and doing demonstrations throughout the show. There are a number of different things to see and do in this manner and if you go to the Features section on the official site for the event, you can see the timetables for all the different classrooms etc.
The great thing about this show is that it is so cheap to visit. For a normal adult ticket the price is only £14.50 and to buy for two days in a row is only£20. For any kind of show, food based or otherwise, this is a steal! Tickets for any classroom activities do cost you more but they are obviously optional so you can completely tailor your visit to what you can afford.
I urge you to go and have a look at the website to see exactly what’s going on over the weekend and maybe buy a ticket. I will be there on Friday 3rd October and I cannot wait! Hope to see you there too.
